So...how do you paint these, anyway?? I would have guessed you did everything digitally but your pieces have such an amazing textured quality, especially in the grass and dirt and stone that it's really hard for me not to picture actual brushstrokes building them up. I would love to see some more high-res images but then I would probably end up staring at each of the individual blades of grass up close for awhile just to see how you handled everything. You have such a fantastic style. <3

I begin with a composite sketch, create a color mood. [link] Then I impose on the work of many photo-textures, mostly monotone grainy texture, use different modes, and high transparency of layers. Then carefully, by hand, draw the details.
But it is still a speed art, I do not do it in high resolution for speed.
